Don't think Wayne expects that - or, maybe he actually does and he will prevent us from doing that, as soon as the MC realizes that it's actually a solution. Is the Entity going to die? Is the curse going to be removed? Man there HAS to be a way to kill yourself in the game. I wonder what's gonna happen if the MC dies and Tabitha IS indeed sterile. (Remember the miners talked about her that she had "lots of heartbreak" and all? Looks like she might have been trying to get pregnant but to no avail). Now, it's only Tabitha and us, and everything looks like we are being prepared for the slaughter, what with Wayne (think he always keeps his creepy eyes on the Scarlets making sure the deal is being held in place) asking us to stay in the house so that we can stay away from potential harm and die, because if we do, there'll only be one Scarlet left and I'm kind of getting this feeling that Tabitha is sterile. Next, there were Vivian and Pearlanne, and it is possible that Pearlanne was killed by Tabitha, or I would rather say, it is possible that old Pearlanne forced Tabitha to kill her because "family" Or, maybe, if Alexandra survived and if she is the "scary human" that lives in the house, it was her who killed Pearlanne. Edvardine then kills Mary Bell and covers it up as if she died in labor. They kind of set things in motion to do that, by having a child. Kind of lines up with the cryptic stuff the Witch was telling us in episode three, that "Charlie and Eddie are the only ones who can break the curse". So in this scenario, Enoch, in his pursuit to "clean the bloodline" and ensure the deal he made is protected, tries to kill the child he thinks is from Charlie - Alexandra - and then dies in the process himself. Enoch new about Charlie and Eddie's affair and wanted to eradicate Shaw's blood. The mix up was that Mary Bell was actually Charlie's daughter. Based on this theory, I'd continue to theorize that there was some mix up, that Andrew Charles really was a stillborn. Alexandra managed to defend herself and ran away (I'm a strong believer that she is still alive and will appear later on in the game). On that day when Alexandra supposedly disappeared and Enoch died, Enoch tried to kill the kid as a sacrifice or rather not like a sacrafice but in an attempt to protect the integrity of the deal since he thought she was Charlie's kid, but failed. Also, it's highly possible that in exchange for that, each new generation of Scarlets had to sacrifice one of their own. In exchange for that, the Scarlet family had to be forever tied to the Holler. So I'm, as probably a lot of people here, thinking that Enoch made a deal with whatever supernatural forces that reside in the area, be it the Entity or its otherworldy friends, so that the mine would never run out of coal.
