Removing the text labels does add more to learn, though? Not sure how replacing one icon with another saves anybody from learning what an icon-only button does. All buttons on the side have text labels and only the handful in the toolbar are icon-only (run, debug, stop, 4 for git, search, settings). It's sometimes hard to figure out what a button will actually do before I click it I am a developer, I don't need my hand held with a minimalist interface. I still don't quite understand why they are changing. I will use it for a couple of weeks and then provide another round of feedback. I still have a few things about it I don't like but it is usable.
